I came about this recipe in an unusual manner, as I made it as a challenge that was put to me online: Coles is one of the two largest supermarket chains in Australia, their online division have a twitter account @ColesOnline that posted “We fought the Torte (and the Torte won) The recipe we could not cook – do you think you could do better?” I took up the challenge and this is the result.
