A self-proclaimed geek, I have been involved in the IT industry since 1984 working in an Apple reseller the year the Macintosh was launched and personal computing history was made.
Since then I have run a number of online chat channels and worked on the creation of community-based web sites for national and multi-national corporations.
In 1996 I started my own production company specialising in web site and interactive multimedia development including live streaming video feeds of events; touch screen kiosk applications and multimedia, live video and lighting displays for events.
In 2006 I worked with The LifeStyle Channel and LifeStyle Food Channels marketing department and external suppliers to rebuild both channels web sites and in doing so took the Food channel site to a top 10 spot in Australia within it’s category according to industry reporter HitWise.
During my career I have had the opportunity of producing digital assets and events for many national and international companies including: the Australian Interactive Media Industry Association; American Express; Apple; BMG; Credit Union Services Corporation; Fairfax; Hoyts; Hutchison Telecommunications; Mars; Movember; Nestlé; News Ltd; Nokia; Qantas; Sony; Telstra; IBM; Universal and Unilever along with many others.
Digital projects I have created and managed have been included on music CDs that have reached multi-platinum in the Australian music charts, and web sites that consistently reach the top 10 visited sites in their categories.
I am keenly taking part in the revolution that the convergence of devices and the rise of social media are creating in the fields of communication and collaboration for both personal and business connections.
