In part 5 of confessions of a potential switcher, I looked at two standard applications: maps and messaging. It’s been 10 days since I switched to the Android and now it’s crunch time.
When I set out on this experiment I admitted that I was an Apple fan, but I was genuinely looking at switching to an Android handset.
After 10 days of using the Google Nexus One with Android 2.2 I have discovered my mobile usage as a whole has gone down dramatically:
- I’m making fewer calls
- I’m accessing the internet less
- I’m using fewer applications
Not good signs for a new smart phone. So what prompted the change in my behaviour?
